Cuero Little League The Cuero Little League will hold its annual election of board members on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m., at the Cuero Little League complex.
Carnival Tickets

A one-day pass is $25 and a three-day pass good for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is $60. The carnival will be open Thursday, Oct. 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday hours are 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Yorktown Historical Museum Take a break from the bustle and step into Yorktown’s past. The museum will be open Friday, Oct. 17 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free—come explore the rich history and artifacts that make Yorktown a true Texas treasure.

Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale The Weesatche Hermann Sons Lodge will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast and Bake-Sale on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the lodge hall located at 306 W. FM 884. The breakfast menu will consist of pancakes, pan sausage, fruit, coffee, milk, and juice. Various home-baked goodies will also be available. Lindenau Rifle Club’s Annual Stew The Lindenau Rifle Club’s Annual Stew will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the stew is $15 per quart and is drive-through only.
Concert for Classrooms Set
The Cuero ISD Education Foundation will host the 2025 Concert for Classrooms featuring ABBAMANIA, the world’s #1 ABBA tribute band, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Cuero Performing Arts Center. The American Legion Dinter Post 3 The American Legion Dinter Post 3 will be hosting a Veteran’s Day Chicken BBQ on Saturday, Nov. 8. The proceeds will go to help local veterans in need and post home improvements. Arneckeville 4-H Club Arneckeville 4-H Club is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Cuero VFW hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plates include pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage, and eggs. Yorktown EMS is holding our annual BBQ fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 9 at Yorktown Community Hall. All plates will be togo. BBQ plates will include brisket, potato salad and beans. Child Find Evaluations School Districts must ensure that a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is provided for children who are identified as needing special education and related services. Child Find is a process to identify, locate and evaluate individuals from birth to 21 years of age who may need special education and related services. Evaluations for Cuero, Meyersville, Nursery and Westhoff ISD are available through Child Find. Early childhood intervention programs serve children with developmental delays and their families. Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals in the central DeWitt County area for Meals on Wheels South Texas. Meals are delivered once a week on Wednesdays from about 11 a.m. to noon. If you are interested in volunteering you can go to mowstx.org or email volunteer@ mowstx.org.
