Dear Editor: American Legion Post 3 in Cuero will be hosting a Veterans Day BBQ on Nov. 8 at the Post located @310 S. Esplanade. A ticket is $15 for a whole BBQ chicken(two halves). Tickets are available at Anders Auto and Dewitt County Co-Op. Tickets are also available at the Post on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 25. Ticket holders should begin driving through our parking lot to receive their chickens on Nov. 8 at 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Thank you for your support.
