Letters to Editor Dear Editor, The Yorktown Western Days Association board of directors would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the 67th Annual Yorktown Western Days Festival a tremendous success.
This year’s event was filled with unforgettable moments, from the excitement of the parades and carnival rides to the friendly competition of the cook-offs and shows.
We were thrilled to welcome incredible musical talent, including Stoney LaRue, Nathan Colt Young, and Wynn Wil-why this tradition continues to mean so much.
We are especially grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and board members for their unwavering support. Your contributions make it possible to keep admission free and offer a festival experience that brings together families, friends, and visitors from across the region.
A sincere thank-you also goes out to the many businesses, civic groups, and individuals who donated their time, talents, and resources. It takes a community to make Western Days happen, and your dedication ensures this beloved celebration continues to grow year after year.
The impact of Western Days reaches far beyond one weekend of fun. Through Wagon Wheel Charities, proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships for local graduates, provide Christmas gifts for children in need, and support organizations such as FFA, 4H, and local booster clubs.
To everyone who joined us for this year’s festivities, thank you for keeping the spirit of Yorktown alive. Your continued support helps preserve a hometown tradition that began back in 1958 and ensures that future generations will enjoy it for years to come.
With sincere appreciation, Chad, Connie, Dwayne, Erik, Glenn, Paul, Peggy, Tracy, Troy and Wesley Yorktown Western Days Association Board of Directors
