Recently, the Lady Gobblers faced the challenging LaVernia team on October 21, taking a hit in all three sets with scores of 9-25, 16-25, and 925. Despite the defeat, the Lady Gobblers had highlights throughout the match.
Jessa Cox emerged as a key player for Cuero, leading the offense with six kills. Her performance was complemented by Reagan Reitz, who contributed significantly with six assists. In addition to her offensive on the court, Cox displayed her strength at the service line, leading the team with three aces. Although the outcome was not what the team hoped for, these performances highlighted the talent within the Lady Gobblers roster.
