DeWitt County school principals recognized

Nine principals are guiding the operations of public schools in DeWitt County for the 2025-2026 academic year.

School principals oversee all aspects of a school, including managing staff and the budget, setting academic goals and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students, according to the websites of education organizations.

Their duties involve managing daily operations, developing curriculum, evaluating teacher performance, discipling students and communication with parents and the community. They also organize professional development of staff and are responsible for security of campuses.
