Yorktown Trunk or Treat Trunk or Treat will take place at Yorktown City Park Friday, Oct. 31, 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be awards for best decorated Trunk, Table and Booth. 2026 Nordheim FFA Stock Show Swine Validation
The swine, breeding swine validation, and monthly weigh-in for the Jan. 31, 2026, Nordheim FFA Stock Show will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Nordheim School FFA Show Barn. This is a mandatory weigh-in for swine validation. Market steers, heifers, sheep, breeding sheep, goats, and breeding goats are also required to be present at this weigh-in. Questions or concerns? Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale The Weesatche Hermann Sons Lodge will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast and BakeSale on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the lodge hall located at 306 W. FM 884. The breakfast menu will consist of pancakes, pan sausage, fruit, coffee, milk, and juice. Various homebaked goodies will also be available. Come on out to Weesatche for some good food and good company.
Lindenau Rifle Club’s Annual Stew The Lindenau Rifle Club’s Annual Stew will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the stew is $15 per quart and is drivethrough only.
