The Lady Pirates traveled to Pleasanton to play their bi-district play-off game against D’Hanis Thursday, October 30. Senior Shaylynn Wagner and freshman Claire Villarreal go up for a block while senior Vanessa Lopez and junior Payton Pena are ready to cover the block. Despite their best effort they fell short in three straight sets: 16-25; 6-25; 18-25. The Lady Pirates had two seniors that took the court for their last time and saw 6 freshman play in their first play-off game. With a young team, the Lady Pirates will be back even strong over the next three years.
