In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Cuero Regional Hospital and Cuero Health recently spearheaded a school supply drive to benefit local students. The initiative, designed to support families in the hospital’s service area, was met with enthusiastic participation from both staff and residents. Cuero Health participated in back to school events for Cuero ISD, Yorktown ISD, and Goliad ISD, providing primary care education and handing out school supplies.
Throughout the month, hospital employees collected a wide range of essential school supplies, from notebooks and pencils to crayons and scissors. The collected items were distributed to students in our communities, ensuring that every child could start the school year prepared and confident.
“Supporting our community goes beyond the walls of our hospital,” said Tamara Kainer, marketing director. “We are deeply committed to excellence not just in the healthcare we provide but also in the support we offer our local communities. This school supply drive is a reflection of our dedication to making a positive impact.”
The drive was a success, with numerous donations pouring in from both the hospital’s dedicated team and generous community members. This effort underscores Cuero Regional Hospital’s ongoing commitment to not only providing top-notch medical care but also fostering a stronger, more connected community.
As students head back to school this fall, Cuero Regional Hospital’s initiative will ensure that they have the tools they need to thrive academically and personally.
