If dogs could talk, they would definitely have plenty to say — especially the ones that are currently at Pet Adoptions of Cuero.
The puppies and all canines under six months old will always be the most vocal. This litter wants to share their back story. They arrived this week at the rescue shelter after being dumped illegally at Cuero’s Green Bridge. There are 5 pups and their momma.
The females were named Josette, Babbette and Annette. Here’s some quotes from the girls: “Thank goodness the good folks at PAOC took us in — we were left to fend for ourselves with no food, no water and no shelter. Since we ate whatever we could find, our tummies are full of worms and our fur is full of flea colonies. But PAOC took us immediately to the vet for a complete exam, shots, meds, flea treatments, and even a microchip. Boy, now we really feel so special.”
