Mary Sue Sparks

Mary Sue “Susie” Sparks, 81, of Cuero peacefully passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born December 5, 1942 in Cuero to Richard and Jeanette Blackwell Miller. She married David Sparks on March 3, 1962 at Grace Episcopal Church in Cuero and together, they had 3 little rambunctious boys. While David was serving in the United States Navy and was away on maneuvers for nine months at a time, she cared for the boys all by herself and although it was a difficult and daunting task, she performed in an exemplary fashion. Susie’s most important things on earth were God, her husband and her family. She became an ordained minister later in life and blessed many people through her love of Christ.
