Manuella Wood, 82, formerly of Kingsville, TX passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born on October 23, 1941 in Cuero to Juan and Lorenza Maria Esparza Cañas. She married Louis Wood on December 10, 1963 in Cuero.
She loved to garden, do arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting and most of all bake. Especially around the holidays.
Manuella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Wood; her son, Charles Wood; and four sisters, Maria Anzualda, Rosa Ordonez, Guadalupe Gonzales and Lorenza Guajardo.
She is survived by her sisters, Dolores Dau and Petra Owen; four grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, 10:00 AM at St.
Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Richard Bediako officiating.
Interment will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, 2:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Kaleb Esparza, Jesrael Esparza, Joe Dimas Sr. and Chriss Goracke.
Honorary Pallbearers include Joe Anzualda, David Anzualda, Robert Anzualda and Albert Anzualda.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
