Blizzy N Blend, a vape shop on North Esplanade Street in Cuero, reported a robbery to police Saturday, Nov. 22, about 4 p.m.
Cuero Chief of Police Steve Ellis said a suspect entered the business and asked the cashier for several items. The cashier placed the items in a bag, but the suspect said he left his credit card in his car.
When he returned to the store, the suspect grabbed the bag and ran for the door. The cashier gave chase and confiscated the sack as the suspect ran toward the door. The suspect slammed the door against the cashier, so she stopped pursuit.
The cashier gave police a description of the suspect and his vehicle. He is described as a white male who was wearing a long sleeve denim colored shirt, khaki pants, and a ball cap. He left the location in a small dark colored four door hatchback vehicle.
Officers were assisted on scene by Dewitt County Deputies. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Cuero Police Department and ask to speak with an investigator or reach out to the department on Facebook.
