Children in the Early Learning Program listen to a reading at Cuero Intermediate School. It is a free program for children ages 0-4 every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The one-hour sessions feature play time, snacks, a fun craft, story time, and free books. It is designed to help children learn to interact with others their age before enrolling in school. Readings recently came from The Gingerbread Man and The Grinch as part of CISD’s holiday program. Also, every Monday CISD campuses host the Magical Monday Program from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The after school program provides fun activities for students and encourages interaction with their peers. Parents are also welcome to join in on the fun.
