The Blue Knights are a non-profit fraternal organization of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles. They have chapters in 34 countries and territories, and offer membership, events, benefits and support to their members. They were stablished in 1974.
The local chapter, TX 48, was chartered in 2016. The chapter has been donating to the Cuero Blue Santa, Yoakum Blue Santa, and Deputy Santa programs since 2018.
The chapter has awarded scholarships to cadets at the Victoria College Regional Police Academy since 2018. The recipient of the scholarship for the fall 2025 Academy is Cadet Kimberly Llacuna.
