The Volunteer Fire Department held its annual Stew Fundraiser and Bake Sale on Dec 4 at the Yorktown Fire Station. A long-standing community tradition, the event brought neighbors together to enjoy a hearty homemade meal while supporting the firefighters who proudly serve the area. Volunteers spent weeks gathering ingredients, preparing equipment, and perfecting the recipe that locals look forward to each year. The money from this fundraiser will be used for the cost of our new air packs for structure fires.
