STX officially welcomed its newest group of Youth Pro Staff Shooters on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

athletes, families, and supporters to celebrate the incoming shooters and the values they bring to the organization, they noted.

The new signings highlighted a growing program rooted in teamwork, community, and shared passion for the sport, according to STX owners Donny and Josie Harris. It brought together “We want high levels of sportsmanship,” the owners said. “Not fixating on wins but growing as a team—as a unit.”

Among the newly signed athletes was Brielle Brzozowski, who said what stands out most about the program is the encouragement she receives. “They always encourage me to do my best,” she said.

Fellow shooter Taylin Myers emphasized the team’s positive mindset. “Everyone on the team has a positive attitude and comes together,” Myers shared. “As long as they keep that positivity and have confidence in themselves, they can achieve what they know they can.”

For Weldon Bowers, STX is more than a team—it’s a family. “Shooting for STX is more of a whole,” Bowers said. “We are closer like family, closer to each other than other teams. How close we are to Donnie and Josie shows that, but it’s also everyone’s true love for both sides of the hunting and target industry.”

New shooter Owen Sansing said he was drawn to the strong network of support built within STX. “I like the community that’s been built,” he said.

Both Korbin Pate and Stockton DeRouen echoed how motivational the STX environment has been for them, each noting how the encouragement within the program pushes them to excel. Not pictured at the event was incoming shooter Everett Pawlik.

Each athlete was welcomed with a $250 sign-on bonus, a gesture reflecting the organization’s commitment to investing in its shooters.

Donny and Josey Harris added that archery has always balanced precision, patience, and power, but its future depends on more than tradition—it depends on the next generation. As young people discover the sport, they bring fresh energy, new perspectives, and a willingness to learn skills that build confidence and discipline. Their involvement ensures that archery ranges stay lively, competitive teams continue to grow, and the passion for the bow is passed down rather than forgotten. By nurturing youth participation today, the archery community secures a strong, vibrant foundation for tomorrow.

The signings mark another step forward for STX as it continues building a tightknit, motivated, and future-focused community of athletes.
