Harold Hartman, Quartermaster of Cuero Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3972, places a wreath at the War Monument on the lawn of the DeWitt Co. Courthouse. The wreath, purchased from “Wreaths Across America,” is one of the 3 million+ wreaths placed Saturday, Dec. 13 to honor fallen service members at thousands of locations nationwide. The Cuero VFW Post also placed wreaths at the “Let Freedom Ring Veterans Park” in Cuero and at the DeWitt Co. Veterans Memorial in Yorktown.
