LINDA A NZALDUA Pet Adoptions of Cuero
This December Pet Adoptions of Cuero went to the “leaders” of tomorrow, our elementary school children.
Invitations came from Hunt Elementary’s Bully Buster Club and from the Kindness Club at John C. French School. PAOC reps Nelda Huber and Linda Anzaldua had a mini-teaching session with the groups and shared pet adoption requirements, pet ownership responsibilities, overall welfare and the health needs of adopted cats and dogs.
The students shared their own pet stories too. Many have adopted from Pet Adoptions of Cuero and how their cat or dog became a cherished member of their family.
As an added surprise, both groups collected cleaning supplies and pet food and treat items to donate to the shelter. PAOC appreciates the communities care and support and especially the positive vibes from the young students.
