Nordheim church welcomes new pastor
RTICLE St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim is pleased to welcome Pastor Christine Kirchner as its new pastor and invites the community to join in worship during this meaningful season.
Pastor Kirchner’s first Sunday serving St. Paul Lutheran Church was November 30, 2025. Regular weekly worship services are held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The congregation also warmly invites the public to attend its Christmas Eve Service on December 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
Pastor Christine and her dog, Jedidiah, have settled into the church parsonage following their move from Pennsylvania and have been out and about meeting members of the Nordheim community. Pastor Kirchner is already bringing a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm to the congregation.
Pastor Kirchner has served faithfully in ordained ministry since 2016, following her graduation from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg and her ordination that same year. Over the past nine years, she has demonstrated strong leadership in preaching, worship, pastoral care, and rural cooperative ministry. Her passion for ministry and her ability to connect with congregations make her a strong addition to the St. Paul Lutheran Church community.
Prior to coming to Nordheim, Pastor Kirchner served at Mountain Grove Lutheran Parish in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, where she was actively involved in congregational and community life.
Pastor Christine Kirchner is the daughter of Pastor Paul and Karen Kirchner of Weesatche, Texas, and the granddaughter of the late Roland and Adlen Diebel.
St. Paul Lutheran Church looks forward to this new chapter of ministry with Pastor Kirchner and welcomes all to join in worship and fellowship.
