Nordheim FFA Stock Show Weigh-In
Nordheim FFA Stock Show Weigh-In The Nordheim FFA Stock Show will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Nordheim FFA Show Barn. On Saturday, Jan. 10, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., a mandatory weigh-in will take place. This is the last regular weigh-in to be held before the official weigh-in on Jan. 30. All Stock Show entries are to meet at the Show Barn for this mandatory weigh-in. It is also necessary to declare at this time which student member will be showing what specified animal. Woodmen Life Cuero Chapter 2736 will meet at Taqueria Vallarta at 302 S. Esplanada St. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. Officers will be installed and the chapter will provide a meal. Call Alicia Gamez at 361564-4829 for information.
CRH Blood Drive
Cuero Regional Hospital will host a blood drive for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center in the Education Classroom on Thursday, Jan. 15 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Anyone who is 16 years old weighing 120 pounds (with parental consent form), or at least 17 years old weighing 110 pounds, and in good general health can donate blood. Donors must present photo ID, last four digits of their social security number and their birth date. Please visit SouthTexasBlood.org to make an appointment. Walk-Ins are welcome!
