More than 80 craft-beer lovers attended the inaugural “Meet the Brewmaster” at The EVThing on Aug. 25. Old 290 Brewery Brewmaster Justin Zimmerman provided tastings and details of how he crafted and sourced the ingredients for his El Bigote Mexican Style Lager, Towhead Creek Blonde Ale, Carter Kolsch, and the most unique barrel – his award-winning Hellraiser Barrel Aged Brown Ale. Local musician Neil Tolbert provided music under the misters in the Pavillion to an appreciative crowd.
