The 2026 Nordheim FFA Stock Show Market judging and breeding animal show will begin at the Nordheim FFA Show Barn Saturday, Jan. 31, at 9 a.m.
Currently, there are 12 hogs, 20 lambs, 20 goats, two heifers (non-selling), and four steer entries, for a total of 56 animal projects. The Premium Auction will begin at 2 p.m. The Nordheim Food, Art, Craft, and Model Show will take place across the street in the main building. The Grand, Reserve, Blue-Ribbon Foods, Art, and Crafts will sell at the conclusion of the animal sale. The models will not sell. A Barbecue Contest will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24. This event is not open to the public; all results and awards will be announced before the Sale on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a concession stand on the grounds sponsored by the Nordheim Senior and Junior Classes, offering hamburgers and other items. Tickets of Chance for the Giveaway will be available until noon. Winners will be announced at 1 p.m. The top two prizes are 250 pounds of processed Ground Meat in 2 lb. packages, donated by Tracey Schendel and Trevor Schuenemann- Double TS Cattle Company.
Everyone is invited to come and support the Nordheim FFA Stock Show. Donations for the Stock Show, the Nordheim FFA Fundraisers and ADD-ONS may be mailed to 500 North Broadway, Nordheim, Texas 78141. The Nordheim FFA Stock Show is a tax deductible 501 (c) (3).
A Celebration of Success will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Nordheim Shooting Club Dining Hall. Serving will begin at 6:30 p.m. A Silent Auction to benefit the Nordheim Beacon of Hope Cancer Group, will begin at 6 p.m.; bids will close at 7:30. p.m.
