Cuero Independent School District Resource Officers William Whitfield and Paul Leal were honored on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Jan. 9 for the vital role they play in keeping schools safe. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families did not go unnoticed, school officials said. They were thanked for service, presence, and unwavering support of the district’s schools.
