Cuero Regional Hospital Laboratory has earned Laboratory Accreditation from COLA Inc., a leading national accrediting organization for clinical laboratories. This recognition confirms that the laboratory meets or exceeds all federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) standards and other regulatory requirements.
COLA accreditation is awarded to laboratories that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety. To earn this distinction, laboratories must follow the highest standards in daily operations, consistently perform accurate proficiency testing, and successfully complete a comprehensive on-site survey.
“Achieving COLA accreditation reflects our dedication to providing reliable, highquality laboratory services for our patients,” said Beth Arellano BSMT/AMT, CLS, Laboratory Director. “This recognition reinforces our ongoing commitment to accuracy, safety, and excellence in patient care.”
COLA uses a mentoring and educationbased approach to accreditation, helping laboratories continually improve quality and patient outcomes. Through this process, CRH Laboratory has demonstrated its ability to deliver dependable laboratory results that patients and providers can trust.
