The Nordheim FFA Chapter and the Nordheim FFA Show Board will be hosting the annual Nordheim FFA Stock Show on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Nordheim School FFA Show Barn. If it is COLD, bring a blanket and dress warm. The livestock judging will begin at 9:00am, 35 students will be exhibiting 12 hogs, followed by the 20 lambs, 22 market goats, and ending with the 4 steers, and 2 heifers. The premium auction will begin at 2:00pm. The Art, Craft, Food, and Model Show will take place in the Elementary Hallway across the street in the main building and will be available for public viewing at 12:00 noon. The Grand, Reserve, and Blue-Ribbon items will sell at the end of the auction. The MODELS will not sell. There will be a concession stand, serving hamburgers, sponsored by the Nordheim Junior and Senior Classes on the show grounds for everyones enjoyment. The Stock Show Committee will be sponsoring a Tickets of Chance Drawing featuring 34 prizes from local merchants and individuals. Tickets may be purchased until 12:00 noon. The award winners will be announced before the auction at 1:30PM. Tickets are $1.00 a piece or 6 for $5.00 and are available from each exhibitor family. The 4 steers and heifers will be exhibited by: Bryce Tessmann, Elizabeth Guinn, and Taydym Schuenemann. Heifers will be shown by: Bryce Tessmann and Elizabeth Guinn. The 12 hogs will be exhibited by: Nicholas Villarreal, Claire Villarreal, Vivian Villarreal, Elizabeth Quinn, Katie Kunkel, Bailey Gaus, Molly Gaus, Finley Rodgers, and Cody Jones. The 20 lamb and breeding lamb entries will be exhibited by: Averee Castillo, Jacob Torres, Vanessa Lopez, Jazmine Washington, Molly Gaus, Layne Wisian, Grahm Wisian, Abbigail Villanueva, Tessa Garcia, Haydyn Schuenemann, Ally HoeTing, Abbigail Yanta, and Aileen Warwas. The 22 goat and breeding goat entries will be exhibited by: Kye Garcia, Jase Gongales, Abigail Gaus, Bailey Gaus, Jillian Denton, Aileen Warwas, Amzie Warwas, Harper Leister, Ezrah Lopez, Donavin Lopez, Ava Lopez, Evelyn Villanueva, D.J. Villanueva, Abbigail Yanta, Tarah Yanta Donations to the Nordheim FFA Stock Show and/or contributions to the Nordheim FFA Fundraisers for assisting in the purchase of an animal may be sent to 500 North Broadway, Nordheim, Texas 78141. An Appreciation Dinner will be held on February 7, 2026, at the Nordheim Shooting Club Hall. Serving will begin at 6:30am. A Silent Auction sponsored by the Nordheim Beacon of Hope Cancer Group will begin at 6:00pm and the winning bids will be announced at 7:30pm. Everyone is invited to attend. The students, Mr. Robert Sager, the FFA Advisor and Agricultural Science Teacher, and the Stock Show Board are extremely excited about the show this year. We would like to invite everyone to come out and support the Nordheim FFA Stock Show in hopes of making this show a success for its exhibitors. IT IS ALL FOR THE STUDENTS!
