Westhoff Independent School District is moving forward with an exciting campus expansion project that will enhance learning opportunities for students and strengthen the district’s long-term educational vision. Construction is underway on a new class- room wing designed to meet the growing instructional needs of the district.
The new facility, estimated at approximately 9,200 square feet and measuring 154 feet by 60 feet, represents a total project investment of $2.58 million. Once completed, the building will house a new library, a dedicated science laboratory, a computer lab, and five modern classrooms, providing students with updated, purpose- built spaces that support hands-on learning, technology integration, and academic collaboration.
District leaders anticipate construction completion by July 15, with students moving into the new building at the beginning of the 2026– 2027 school year. The timing ensures that classrooms and learning spaces will be fully operational when students return in August 2026.
“This project is an investment in our students and our community,” district officials shared. “The new classroom wing will give our teachers and students the facilities they need to continue delivering high-quality instruction while preparing students for future academic and career success.”
The new library will serve as a central hub for literacy, research, and student engagement, while the science lab and computer lab will expand opportunities for experiential learning and digital skill development. The six additional classrooms will help ensure appropriate class sizes and flexible instructional use as the district continues to grow.
Westhoff ISD is proud to continue investing in facilities that reflect its commitment to student success, innovation, and community pride. The district looks forward to welcoming students into the new classroom wing at the start of the 2026–2027 school year.
