Trent Dae’joul Jackson, 32, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Feb. 5 near Cuero.
A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper pulled Jackson over heading north on Highway 183 near Five Mile Road for an alleged traffic violation around 2:30 p.m.
According to a DPS official, the drive admitted to possessing marijuana inside the vehicle and multiple drugs were allegedly located including 32 oz marijuana, 116 g cocaine, 212 g ecstasy, 32 g mushrooms, 20 g hydrocodone, 14 g suspected PG2 tablets, 7 THC vape pens, 2 THC cartridges and 70 g psilocybin chocolate.The driver was taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Jackson was charged with seven different drug related charges as well as driving with a suspended license. He is being held in the De-Witt County Detention Center on $292,000 in total bonds.
