Holy Cross Holding Summer Food Service Program

Bright Nutrition will be distributing Free Grab & Go shelf stable meals for children 2-18 years of age. Meals consist of breakfast and lunch for 7 days. *If your child is not present, please provide a report card or a birth certificate as verification together with the parent’s ID. Paul Weise Family Reunion

The Paul Weise Family Reunion will be held Sunday, July 7, at the DeWitt County Vietnam Veterans Center in Yorktown. Registration begins at 10 a.m. A potluck lunch will be served at noon. Family members are encouraged to bring an item(s) for the family auction fundraiser.

Revival

The Cuero Assembly of God invites the community to attend a revival on Sunday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. On Monday, July 8, the revival continues at 7 p.m. with Miracle Monday. Come and see what God is going to do. Evangelist Rev. Steven Mcknight from Louisiana will be preaching. The Cuero Assembly of God is located at 201 W. FBC Yorktown holding Bible Alive in July

FBC Yorktown will offer a week of fun and Bible teaching at BIBLE ALIVE the week of July 8-12, 9:00 am to Noon. Not only will they learn Old Testament stories, they will learn why Old Testament stories are in the Bible; as well as music, crafts, games, and snacks. This year's topic is Moses. CRH Holding Blood Drive

Cuero Regional Hospital will be hosting a blood drive for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center in the Education Classroom on Thursday, July18th,from10:30am to 3:30 pm. Anyone who is 16 years old weighing 120 pounds (with parental consent form), or at least 17 years old weighing 110 pounds, and in good general health can donate blood. Bade-Reinhardt Reunion

The reunion will be held July 20 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 11220 FM 237, in Meyersville. The building opens at 10 a.m. with a covered dish luncheon at noon. Library/ Crown Hospice Hosts Senior Social Hour

Crown Hospice is holding a Senior Social Hour at the Yorktown Public Library on the 1st Monday of every month. The social hour begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public. Bingo, prizes and snacks are all provided free of charge. The hosts look forward to you attending.

Meals on Wheels volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals in the central DeWitt County area for Meals on Wheels South Texas. Meals are delivered once a week on Wednesdays from about 11 a.m. to noon. If you are interested in volunteering you can go to mowstx. org or email [email protected].
