Ever since he was a little boy Landyn captured everyone’s eyes before he captured their hearts. He had the most genuine love, upmost respect, caring but protective way about him. He never wanted anyone he came across to be sad or hurt especially his family and close friends. Landyn had an amazing circle that he kept around him. Once you were apart of it then you were there for life. He was a young man but an old soul. He wanted to always make sure those he loved were good and taken care of. Being the big brother to his siblings meant a lot to him. He always made it a point to try to spend time with all of them if he could. He was naturally just a nurturing young man. He cared about creating a relationship with them and bonding with his little siblings. He was the same way with his cousins as well. He would make it a point to ask all those he loved how they were doing and actually take the time to listen to the response. As for Landyn’s friends, if you had the pleasure of calling him a friend then he brought you into his world and it was as if you were family to him. He just loved that much. He was their biggest hype man, the one who cheered them up when they were down because he never wanted to see them sad, he was the ear they needed as well as the one who gave advice when it called for it, he was the support man, and through it all he loved them no matter what. My baby was only 17 years of age but had the pleasure and beautiful experience of feeling in love and being in love completely. His relationship was truly magical and unforgettable to all those who witnessed it. I feel blessed to of seen it first hand as his mother. I loved to see how fiercely he loved and was loved back. Melina will forever be the one true love of his life that is eternally 17 years old. As a son my baby was a very passionate young man. He never hesitated or worried about being too old to show me affection. He was always the same from a young age to his very last day. He always would show me and tell me how much he loved me. He wanted to always take care of me and protect me. He felt like it was his job as the older brother even though I was the parent and would explain I just wanted him to be a child. One thing is for sure he loved to make time for me. Watching movies together and creating memories will forever be cherished. He would have moments of wanting to just be my big baby, Lol! He would want me to rub his hair and him lay on the couch with his head in my lap. Landyn and I would have long conversations about life always. He wanted to do so many things and in a hurry. He never wanted to wait because he felt as if he didn’t have enough time. Oh how I think about that now that he is gone. Just the dream of going to work with his dad to start making money. He stated to me he wanted to get his diploma and start working right away. He wanted to help in all the ways he could especially financially. He was like mom I can’t wait to work so we won’t have to worry about money. He wanted to help pay bills and be able to take me out. Of course the first thing I said was, “my love I don’t want your money or for you to pay bills”. The main thing I wanted was for him to work towards his dream. Landyn loved cars! He always has and wanted to make a career out of building engines. He wanted to get his own shop and be able to have his brothers work all together. The older siblings, him included loved cars and bonding over that passion. He wanted his passion to become his career and ultimately the way he financially supported himself in life. His heart was so big that he didn’t only dream for himself he did for everyone else as well. He wanted everyone to join in on that dream and make it a family business. Unfortunately God had other plans and he was taken from us way too soon. All we can do now is pray for healing. Knowing he is in a better place and resting in eternal peace. Until we meet again my sweet boy, fly high my precious angel!
