Cuero High School senior Landri Dyer has built an impressive record of musical achievement during her four years in the school’s choir program, earning recognition at both the regional and state levels.
Dyer has been selected to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region Choir in each of her four years at Cuero High School, from the 2022-23 school year through the 2025-26 school year. She also earned a place in the prestigious TMEA All-State Choir during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.
“Landri Dyer is an outstanding student and a gifted musician. She has demonstrated this through her achievements. She is a two time winner (2025,2026) in the TMEA All State Choir and has received 1st Division ratings in the UIL Solo/Ensemble Contests all four years of her high school career. In addition to her All-State honors,

Cuero High School senior choir member Landri Dyer has been accepted to Stephen F. Austin State University for the fall semester of 2026. She is in the process of auditioning for the SFA School of Music, SFA School of Theatre and Dance, and she will audition for a spot in the Lumberjack Marching Band later this spring. She has been active throughout her high school years in choir and medaled twice with superior ratings in UIL State Solo and Ensemble competition. Courtesy Photo Dyer has excelled in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Solo and Ensemble Contest. She has received superior ratings and medaled at the state level twice and will return to compete again this summer.
Dyer’s passion for singing began years before high school. While attending Hunt Elementary School in Cuero ISD, she performed the song “Three Little Birds” a cappella in a fifth-grade talent show. The experience sparked a love for music that would guide her through her school years.
After that performance, Dyer began setting goals for herself in choir while still in junior high school. Over the course of her four years at Cuero High School, she has accomplished those goals through consistent preparation and dedication to the audition process.
Each summer, Dyer attends All-State choir camp to prepare for auditions. The process requires extensive practice and careful study of the music before competing for a place in the region and state ensembles.
Following graduation, Dyer plans to continue her musical studies at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she has been accepted for the fall 2026 semester. She is currently auditioning for programs in the university’s School of Music and the School of Theatre and Dance. She will also audition later this spring for a spot in the Lumberjack Marching Band.
