The Kitty Kat and Wildcat Varsity and JV track teams competed at the Kenedy Relays March 5 with the following results: For the Kitty Kats, Claire Person placed 1st in the Triple Jump and set a new school record with a jump of 35 feet, 11 inches and Hayle Russell placed 1st in the pole vault; Palyn Koopmann placed 2nd in the 100m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles; the 4x400m relay team of: Koopmann, Person, Avery Martin, and Paige Deleon placed 2nd; Martin also placed 5th in the Long Jump. In the JV girls division, Diana Mockova placed 5th in the 1600m Run.
For the Wildcats, Ryan Knostman placed first in the Shot Put and Discus; Kylan Respondek placed second in the 300m Hurdles and fourth in the 110m Hurdles; Jordan Rios placed 2nd in the Shot Put; Matthew Patton placed 3rd in the Shot Put and 6th in the Discus; Randen Zuniga placed 4th in High Jump; the 4x100m Relay of Calvin Duprie, Matthew Olguin, McKenzie Yanta and Brayden Knostman placed 4th; the 4x400m Relay of Aaron Luke, Travis Beasing, B. Knostman, and Respondek placed 4th; B. Knostman placed 5th in the 100m Dash; Devon Campbell placed 6th in the Long Jump. In the JV Division, Darrell Spell placed 4th in the Shot Put.
