During the day, seven Yorktown students were selected in random drawings to receive gift cards from local restaurants.
Bryce Chandler notably earned third place in the Junior Class Division of the Mathematics Competition, receiving a medal for his achievement.
“I was actually quite surprised that I placed, but I was proud to represent Yorktown at such a big event,” Chandler said.
The day offered students hands-on exposure to advanced mathematics and robotics concepts, highlighting Yorktown’s dedication to fostering excellence in STEM education.
