DeWitt/LaVaca County Democratic Women The group will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 7, at its new headquarters in Cuero at 210 N. Esplanade next to Rosie’s Mexican restaurant in Cuero. The meet and greet starts at 5 p.m., and the meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. This is a change in day and time to accommodate those who have asked for a better time for working people. All are invited. The organization also invites area men to join the group and participate in all activities. Freemasons Offer Scholarships Yorktown and Nordheim 2026 graduating seniors planning to attend technical school or college are invited to apply for a scholarship from Yorktown’s Cameron Masonic Lodge. Education is a key factor in the future success of not only our community but the country as a whole.
