The 2026 Miss Cuero Pageant Court was appointed at the 45th anniversary of the pageant at the Cuero Performing Arts Center March 28.
Leah was crowned Miss Cuero for 2026. The emcee for the pageant was 2012 Miss Cuero Brandy. The pageant does not list the last names of the court members.
“The Miss Cuero Pageant was a wonderful success, marked by meaningful friendships, uplifting moments and incredible community support,” said Jason Burmeister, pageant managing partner. “It was inspiring to see how the experience brought people together, reminding everyone that it’s about connection, confidence and personal growth — not just competition.”
Burmeister said the Miss Cuero Board of Directors is proud of the accomplishment and committed to continuing the momentum.
“We look forward to delivering positive results and working together to support and strengthen our community even further,” Burmeister said. “Be sure to look for our Miss Cuero Court in upcoming parades as they proudly serve our beautiful DeWitt County.”
The Miss Cuero Court acts as ambassadors of the city at celebrations and other official events.
The Miss Cuero Pageant was managed by the Cuero Chamber of Commerce until 2023, but a new organization with a board of directors took over the sponsorship after that.
