One of the most dedicated and respected groups in Cuero — Keep Cuero Beautiful — not only finds ways to make our fair city better but also has created a fun contest and competition each Spring.
Teams of volunteers are recruited to canvas an area of town and pickup and remove trash. The trash is then weighed per team and the winning teams are awarded a special monetary award.
But this gets even better. The teams then decide on a local nonprofit group to be the recipient of the award. The team consisting of Dee Ayers and Candy Henderson chose Pet Adoptions of Cuero.
PAOC welcomed the donation and noted that the pups in the photo will be getting their vet work completed as a result of this donation.
Compliments and thanks to all the KCB members for a prettier city and their support coming right back to its own local nonprofits.
