Here's little Lucy who is hoping she will have a new human mommy soon.
Kitten season is in full swing at all the shelters in Texas, and the kitten inventory at Pet Adoptions of Cuero is also at its highest ever. All of the felines have been home raised or came to the shelter after being 'rescued'.
PAOC is doing its part to avoid more stray cats or kittens in the neighborhood. The PAOC cats will receive vet tests for parasites, flea treatments and baths, shots, microchipped and caring socialization. Each adopted kitten will be spayed or neutered at maturity as part of the adoption package.
They are sand box trained and love having another kitten buddy or two. These kittens are at the perfect age to introduce to another family pet — the dog for the best chances of family harmony.
Check out the kitten and puppy selection soon at Pet Adoptions of Cuero, 407 US Highway 183 South, Cuero. PAOC is open every day of the year from 8 a.m. until 12 noon or call for a late afternoon adoption visit 361-243-8540.
PAOC does not recommend kittens as a surprise Mother's Day gift. Every pet — cat or dog — should be a committed family group decision.
