In Yorktown Independent School District, two incumbents came out on top, but a challenger outpaced two incumbents in the election.
In CISD’s District 3 race, incumbent Wanda M. Campbell Prince Zuniga received 58.33% of the vote, compared to challenger Cindy Lange’s 41.67%. In CISD’s District 4, incumbent Justin Cooper got 78.91%, and challenger Jason Collier took 21.09%.

The results showed 786 of 4,635 or 16.96% of DeWitt County’s registered voters turned out for early voting and election day polling.
The results of the election will not be final until DeWitt County canvasses the votes, and a recount might be requested with a tight margin.
Elections in all other school districts, cities and Cuero Regional Hospital in DeWitt County were not held due to the lack of contested races.
