Dr. Kendall Prinz will be Cuero Independent School District’s new band director when the new 20262027 school year begins.
“Cuero ISD is excited to announce Dr. Kendall Prinz as the new Director of Bands for the Fighting Gobbler Band,” CISD officials said. “With years of experience leading successful band programs, Dr. Prinz brings a passion for musical excellence and student success.”
Prinz, who is also a tuba player, performer and conductor, most recently served as Goliad ISD’s assistant band director, according to his published professional profile. Additionally, he was director of bands at Murray University in Abilene, assistant director of bands at Blinn College in Brenham, assistant professor of low brass and instrumental music education at Northwest Missouri State University, band director at Taylor ISD and instructor of music at Texas Lutheran University.

Prinz holds a doctorate in musical arts from the University of Texas at Austin, a master’s in music composition from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s from Texas Lutheran University.
