Cuero ISD is inviting community members interested in working for the district as substitute teachers, cafeteria workers or bus drivers to attend a training session later this summer.
The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 29, in the Cuero ISD Board Room, 960 E. Broadway.
According to the district, the training is designed to provide participants with the information needed to be successful while serving in substitute roles. The session will also include state-mandated safety, security and Stop the Bleed training.
District officials encourage interested applicants to pre-register online at bit.ly/ cisdsubtraining.
Those who do not pre-register are asked to bring a driver's license, Social Security card and a copy of their diploma or transcripts to the training.
