IN BLOOM

It's the bloom of the spiny yucca plant, which you only see IN BLOOM once a year, if you're lucky. They appear, typically, in early to mid-June, and they only appear during rainy years like the one we're experiencing now. Enjoy them while they last, though, because summer's heat will soon take them away.
