Seventeen teams entered the four-man scramble Men’s Health Golf Tournament 2024 on June 29 at the Cuero Municipal Golf Course.
The 1st place team of Ryan Kainer, Russell Goebel, Dustin Ohrt, and Dr. John Frels had a score of 56; 2nd place Keith Kruger, Rudy Slazar, Todd Greer, Brandon Blain, score of 57; tie 3rd and 4th place, Jeremy Wanjura, Omar Cordova, Jayden Nichols, Jason Lopez score of 58 and Dylan Beyer, Dustin Blinks, Larry McHorse, Terrance Taylor score of 58;tie for 5th place, Scott Smalley, Pete Gaona, Jay Simko, Chris Genzer score of 59, and Harold Dworacyk, Michael Chavez, Trey Parma, and Dr. Kody Selzer score of 59.
The annual tournament is organized by the Cuero Regional Hospital and is designed to educate the men in the community on the necessary health topics needed to maintain a healthy life. A donation of $500 was given to the charitable fund at CRH dedicated for Men’s health screenings, like PSA.
