Cuero’s Ruby Begonia and Worthington’s Paycheck were hardly neck and neck in the first heat of the annual Great Gobbler Gallop on September 14. Ruby won by a whole 30 seconds.
The Cuero Turkeyfest Race Team consisting of Captain Sherry Oakes, Coach Leslie Voelkel, Handler Corbin Goebel and Community Handler Wayne Berger traveled to Worthington, MN September 12th - 15th for the first heat of the The Great Gobbler Gallop!
The Ruby Begonia race team was accompanied by the Cuero Turkeyfest Delegation made up of 28 Cuero Turkeyfest and City of Cuero friends and families The race occurred at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th in Downtown Worthington, MN.
