On Thursday, October 10, 2024, Westhoff ISD students were visited by Westhoff Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Andrew Weikel talked to the students on the importance of fire safety, including what to do if there is a fire in their home.
The children were shown a demonstration of how a fire extinguisher works as well as how fast a fire can occur. Following their demonstrations, the Westhoff VFD handed out goodie bags to all the children and answered any questions that they had. Westhoff ISD is very appreciative for all that our VFD does for our community!
