All of us, at some time in our lives, have heard people say, “I am right, and you are wrong.” In today’s world of high-tech industries and procedures the technique of teaching and leading others, especially employees, has changed. It has become a world of dictating what to read and learn from books and manuals instead of handson learning from others that know what they are doing. Most of the time good leaders would take the time to teach people because they know what they are doing.
There are many times we catch ourselves treating our children and grandchildren the same way. We want them to learn on their own and it shouldn’t be this way. Now that I am older, I have found it necessary to ask my grandchildren for advice on how to use these new electronic gadgets, especially my cell phone.
