Clydelle Rohan Tam

Clydelle Rohan Tam, 76, of Yorktown, Texas left this earth to be with her savior on October 17, 2024. She was born on November 15, 1947 in Yorktown, Texas to the late Lucious and Agnes Rohan. She graduated from Yorktown High School in May of 1966 and she married the love of her life Kenneth Ray Tam, Sr. on Sept. 24, 1966. They had two children Amanda (Baron) Rae Dolfo and Kenneth Ray Tam, Jr. whom they raised on the family farm near Cotton Patch, Texas.

She graduated from Yorktown High School in May of 1966 and she married the love of her life Kenneth Ray Tam, Sr. on Sept. 24, 1966. They had two children Amanda (Baron) Rae Dolfo and Kenneth Ray Tam, Jr. whom they raised on the family farm near Cotton Patch, Texas.

Clydelle was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown, worked at the Community Bank in Yorktown, Texas, was Executive Director for the Yorktown Housing Authority and co-owned B&C Flower & Gift Shop in Yorktown, Texas, with her sister, Beatrice Fagg. Her hobbies included cooking, canning, gardening sewing, hunting, fishing, playing bingo and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her children Amanda (Baron) Rae Dolfo and Kenneth Ray Tam, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Wyatt Koricanek, Tanner Koricanek and Jackson Tam, sister Beatrice Rohan Fagg, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Tam, Sr., her parents, Lucious and Agnes Sedlacek Rohan, brothers Arwood (Viola) Rohan, Patrick (Alice) Rohan, Edward (Elenora) Rohan, sisters Helen Rohan (Herbert) Krause, Margaret Rohan, Bette Jo (Clifford) Rohan Haun, Virginia (Preston) Rohan Preiss, brother-in laws, Bobby (Bea) Fagg, Herbert Krause, Clifford Haun, Preston Preiss, Edward (Genevieve) Tam, and sister-in laws Viola Landgrebe Rohan, Alice Waltersdorff Rohan, Elenora Drapalla Rohan and Genevieve Kulik Tam.

Visitation will be held at Massey Funeral Home in Yorktown, Texas Friday, October 25, 2024 from 5- 7 pm,. Funeral services will be held at Massey Funeral Home Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:00 am and Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Yorktown, Texas. A celebration of life BBQ lunch will follow at the Yorktown Veteran Affairs Hall in Yorktown, Texas (fka American Legion).

Pallbearers will be Wyatt Koricanek, Tanner Koricanek, Jackson Tam, Garrett Rohan, Patrick Rohan, Keith Leister and Clint Leister. Honorary pallbearers are nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews of the Rohan, Tam, Preiss, Haun, Fagg, Buckley and Krause families, along with Ronnie Matejek, William Warwas, Bernard Warwas and Joey Gonzales.

The family would like to recognize Joyce Shabazz, Maria Bermudez, Carolyn and New Century Hospice for their tender care and compassion during Clydelle’s last moments at her home.

Memorials may be given to Yorktown EMS or donor’s choice.
