Curtis Allen Trammell

Curtis Allen Trammell, age 81, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born March 25, 1943, in Port O'Connor to Theodore and Ada Thumann Trammell.

Curtis Allen Trammell, age 81, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born March 25, 1943, in Port O'Connor to Theodore and Ada Thumann Trammell.

Curtis worked in the oilfield, was a rancher, and a real estate investor. He loved gardening, hunting, and was an excellent marksman.

Curtis is survived by: son, Curtis Sean Trammell (Stacy) sisters, Marlou Wendland and Nelda Hill, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their children.

Curtis is preceded in death by: parents; son, Scott Allen Trammell; sisters, Brucene Erlene Trammell Billings, Philmavis Elva Fossett, Shirley Ann Hagan, and a brother, Seth Earl Trammell.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Yoakum Restland Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Wayne Hill, Danny Wendland, Gary Verner, Travis Young, Dalton Cook, and Nathan Monney. Honorary pallbearers: Bruce Thumann and Ross Young.

A special thank you to Kristy Young, Nelda Hill, and Marlou Wendland for their unwavering help and support during Curtis' illness.

Through good times and bad, Curtis managed to live his life exactly the way he wanted to...on the land that he loved. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
