Three Nordheim cross country athletes will compete at the State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock on Nov. 2. Pictured on Nordheim ISD’s new track are L-R: Percy Torrez, Skylar Garcia, and Abby Klein.
Junior Percy Torrez finished 12th and was in the top 10 individuals and will advance. This is her third year to state.
Sophomore Skylar Garcia finished 22nd and grabbed a spot for the state meet. He finished in the top 10 for individuals too. This will be Skylar’s 2nd appearance at the state meet.
Senior Abby Klein will be making her third trip to state as well. Abby finished 5th at the Regional Meet held in Corpus Christi.
