On Tuesday, Oct 22 the Kitty Kats defeated the Bloomington Lady Cats, 25-14, 25-9, and 25-10 and senior Nina Villarreal celebrated quite the accomplishment as she has recorded a career high 1,000 digs. Villarreal is this year’s libero and is a four-year letterman.
Last week the Kitty Kats defeated the Falls City Beaverettes for senior night and the last home game of the season. That night in particular is one of Villarreal’s favorite volleyball memories.
“My favorite memory is winning our senior night game because it was a fun game to play,” Villarreal said. “The stands were packed, and we just had a lot of support to help us win that big game.”
