The Lady Gobblers beat Austin St. Michael in 4 sets on Oct. 29, but came up short for the second time this season against the Goliad Tigers Friday with a 3-0 loss. However, according to MaxPreps, each set they played they increased their score, 25-12, 25-18, and 2522.
Arissa Carbonara paced Cuero's offense, picking up 15 kills. Carbonara got some help from Emma Flores and her 24 assists. Taryn Gayle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Cuero's loss dropped their record down to 30-15.
