The Pirates and Lady Pirates traveled to Round Rock to compete at the 1A State Cross Country meet. Senior Abby Klein had a fabulous run with a PR of 12:54 finishing in 14th out of 146 athletes. Junior Percy Torrez and Sophomore Skylar Garcia both had decent runs finishing in the top two-thirds. Nordheim ISD is proud of these three outstanding athletes. This was Abby and Percy’s third appearance at the state meet and Skylar’s second appearance at the state level. Congratulations to them on a job well done.
